Bias angle
Clip a 1st ball that sits diagonally ahead near a long cushion, then go long cushion → short cushion → long cushion to the 2nd ball on the far side.
Path: 1st ball → long cushion → short cushion → long cushion → 2nd ball
Scores in both three-cushion (yellow is the 2nd ball) and four-ball.
- Clip the 1st ball at 3/8 ball so the cue ball enters the long cushion below it at a shallow angle.
- Add 1 tip of top so the ball keeps rolling after the thin hit and carries on to the short cushion and the long cushion. If the 2nd ball is farther, add a little running spin.
- Even a 1/8 change in thickness moves the first cushion point a lot, so check the thickness in the magnifier before you shoot.
Suggested: 1 tip top · power 5 · Right 3/8 ball
